About Capital Tease

Founded in 2010 by a group of seasoned burlesque performers, Capital Tease is known for their top-notch burlesque variety shows. Combining the timeless style, movements, and confidence of decades past with contemporary themes, these strong women put on a thoroughly entertaining show!

Each unique performer brings something special to the troupe that makes it hard to choose just one favourite! The performers’ styles range from cute and sweet, to sensual and provocative. These creative women will dazzle you with their fabulous costumes, shakes, shimmies, and attention to details, and then blow you away with bawdy bumps and grinds, extravagant feather fans, poles and hoops!

The Capital Teasers produce their own themed events that in the past have included such shows as Some Like It Hot, Back To The Grind, Summer Lovin’ and their annual Halloween costume party, Fishnet Freakshow. Sometimes known to take their show on the road, Capital Tease has taken part in events like Nuit Blanche (Toronto), Shazamfest (Stanstead), the Toronto Burlesque Festival, and other shows in Montreal, Kingston, and Toronto.
